The foundation

DXN was founded by Datuk Lim Siow Jin, a graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology. Datuk Lim started the business in quest of the benefits of mushroom on human health. His deep interest and endless effort drove him to utilize the fullest potential of Ganoderma or Lingzhi, which is well-known as the King of Herbs, for human health and wealth, with the establishment of DXN in 1993. The core business activities of DXN include cultivation, manufacturing and marketing of the health food supplements. Based in Malaysia with worldwide operations, the company is well-known for its Ganoderma business. Its product lines include dietary supplements, food and beverages, personal care products, skin care and cosmetics, household products and water treatment system. Since its inception in 1993, DXN has upheld its concept of ‘One Dragon One World One Market and One Mind’. With this powerful concept, DXN has sailed through continuous growth over the years. On 30 September 2003, DXN Holdings Bhd was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. DXN was delisted on 27 December 2011 due to a take-over offer by the founder.

Dr. Lim Siow Jin

Founder

Graduated with Honors in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 1984. Earned a Doctorate in Alternative Medicine from the Indian Council of Alternative Medicine, gaining extensive scientific expertise in natural health and complementary medicine. Began his career as a civil engineer before shifting his focus to alternative medicine and medicinal mushroom research. Founded DXN in 1993 in Malaysia, dedicating over 20 years to studying Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi Mushroom) and making it the core ingredient of the company’s products. Today, DXN has grown into a vast network with over 21 million registered members in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Mr Prajith Pavithran

Prajith Pavithran is the Chief Marketing Officer of DXN with 22 years of experience in sales and marketing. He began his working career in 2001 with DXN as Sales and Training Executive responsible for coordinating sales and training activities in North India. In 2003, he was promoted to Head of Sales and Training and following that, to Manager of International Business in 2004 responsible for coordinating marketing and operational matters in South Asia. Mr Prajith is a strong and influential leader who has achieved great success in the world of DXN and has a distinguished presence in various Arab and international events.
