The Story That Changed My Life…
I will never forget that day in early 2007. I was praying at a mosque near my workplace at the Dubai Central Laboratory in the Emirate of Dubai, where I was serving as Head of the Calibration and Standards Division.
After finishing the prayer and stepping outside, a Yemeni man approached me at the door, greeting me warmly and beginning a friendly conversation with a smile that never left his face. I was impressed by his calm presence and dignity, so I returned the greeting sincerely. He said, “I would like to introduce you to health products from an international company and invite you to visit our office.”
I welcomed the idea and told him I would certainly visit at another time. We exchanged phone numbers and parted ways.
A few days later, my phone rang and the caller ID showed: “Abu Imad Al-Dhibani – Korean Company.” I had mistakenly written “Korean” instead of “Malaysian” at the time. As usual, Abu Imad greeted me warmly and asked, “When will you visit us, Engineer?” I apologized again because I was very busy then. We agreed to meet later. Days turned into months, and unfortunately, whenever Abu Imad called, I was either busy or traveling to my home country, Syria, for vacation. This continued for nearly eleven months.
During his final call, I felt truly embarrassed for delaying a meeting whose nature I didn’t even know. I immediately told him, “God willing, I will make time and meet you this week.”
That evening, I was sitting with my Iraqi friend, Mr. Khaled Saadi, with whom I had shared many years of friendship. I told him, “Abu Ahmad, this week we will visit a Yemeni man who seems to have a project.” He immediately replied, “Why don’t we go today?” He tapped the wall beside him and said, “Perhaps God is knocking on our door with an opportunity, Abu Hani.”
I loved his response. I immediately called Abu Imad and asked, “What do you think about meeting now?” He laughed and said, “I’m waiting for you. I’m at the company office right now,” and he sent me the address.
We arrived at the company office in Al Karama, Dubai. Abu Imad welcomed us with a warm embrace and I introduced him to my friend. The office was large, elegant, and full of people. Some were standing at the counter purchasing products I knew nothing about. Others were sitting at tables, speaking passionately. Some were presenting on computers, others on paper. I observed all this within seconds, my eyes moving around with both admiration and curiosity.
Abu Imad led us into a room, opened his laptop, and began speaking simply about the company’s products, marketing system, compensation plan, and incentives. His presentation was clear, easy to understand, and sincere.
I told him, “I like the products and the project idea, but I need some time to think.”
I researched, studied the company system, and reviewed the relevant Shariah opinions. My admiration only grew stronger. Three days later, I called him and announced my decision to join the company. Mr. Khaled and I went together to register. Abu Imad was very happy and immediately provided me with various brochures about the company, its products, and its financial plan.
I began working with enthusiasm and invited those around me to the opportunity. In my first month, 27 members joined my team.
That is how I joined the Malaysian global company DXN, which changed my life—by the grace of God—health-wise, financially, socially, and intellectually. I began traveling every year with the company on complimentary incentive trips and training programs to some of the most beautiful places on earth. I met top leaders in the direct selling industry and built a wide network of relationships.
As of February 2026, my team has grown to nearly three million registered distributors across 239 countries, including 36,000 stars, among them 6 Crown Ambassadors.
I became an international trainer, speaking on stages in many countries. My health awareness increased as I became a wise consumer of this giant company’s products.
Most importantly, I entered a smart, independent, and secure business through which I provide multiple benefits to others. I have helped tens of thousands of people transform their lives for the better. I now enjoy my time free from the burdens and pressures of employment. The income from this pioneering project continues to grow and can be passed on to my family after me.
